Duck

Duck is growing in popularity and is now available year round. Prime Meats offers whole oven-ready birds, portioned duck breast fillets and legs in a range of sizes in both British Gressingham and French Barbarie duck breeds.

Gressingham duck is famed for its thin, crispy skin and a skinless breast containing less than 3% fat.

All our Gressingham ducks enjoy a stress free life. Good  health and comfort is ensured, without the use of growth enhancers or antibiotics, and their feed is a high quality blend of cereals with no bonemeal or unnecessary additives. The care and attention put into rearing these birds results in a duck with distinctive characteristics. The meat is succulent and tender with a unique gamey flavour and each duck contains about 20% more meat than other similar weighted breeds.
