British beef

ABP, our partnership supplier for British beef, is based in Shrewsbury, a prime region for quality beef. 75% of their meat is sourced from within a 50 mile radius of their site where it is slaughtered, cut and packed. 

Our British beef carries the Red Tractor logo. In addition it meets eating quality standards for succulence and taste set by the English Beef & Lamb Executive.

Imported beef

We source the best beef to offer quality, choice and value for money. Specialised packaging and transportation ensure our imported beef, sourced from Ireland, the EU or South America, is delivered in prime condition.

Scottish beef

Renowned for its quality, many consumers will look for it on the menu. Sourcing directly from our suppliers in Scotland, Prime Meats is proud to be the first delivered foodservice supplier to be awarded the Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) accreditation.  This assures customers that the meat is from cattle that have been born, reared and slaughtered in Scotland as well as confirming high standards of animal welfare, storage and distribution.

Prime Meats steaks are available in individual skin packs or multi packs; the vacuum packaging used in both formats provides significantly extended shelf life.  Individual skin packs allow single steaks to be used as required without breaking the seal on the remaining ones, helping to extend the life of the product and prevent wastage.
