Wilo Game

Established by former gamekeeper Will Oakley and his wife Debbie, their business ‘Wilo’ was born from their passion for shooting and the countryside.

Situated on the Shropshire-Welsh border, Wilo supply Prime Meats with local game bred on National Trust land and from high profile estates. All the game is wild and free roaming.

They ensure that the gamekeepers they work with are legally certified, trained hunters, abiding to the seasons and that they protect the welfare of the animals and their natural habitat.

The partridges and pheasants are released in the early months of the year and left to become free range, ready for the start of the game season in September.

Wood pigeons are also free to roam and have choice pickings over countless acres of prime agricultural land in Wales and the Shropshire countryside and are becoming increasingly popular with consumers.

Fallow deer are collected from a number of National Trust estates including Charlecote Park, Attingham Park and Powys Castle.

Will and Debbie are looking forward to the forthcoming game season and seeing their hard work come to fruition.
